TIPS ON BATHING YOUR DOG IN THE BATHTUB
Bathing your dog outside may be OK during the summer months but during a cold winter it can be unpleasant for you and your dog. I bathe my dog inside in the bathtub year round. All I had to do was get a hand held shower head attachment and I was in business.

You can buy one at any local hardware store or at many places online. I bought an inexpensive one with a 7 foot hose at Home Depot. You'll need a long hose so you can reach under your dog to wash the soap off.

Installing the shower head is easy. Of course you should read and follow the instructions included with it but here is the basic installation that should work for most brands.

First you should remove the old shower head either by hand, with a crescent wrench or plumbers wrench. Most of them are just screwed on to the pipe and can be removed easily. Next you install the new hand held shower head by just screwing on the base and then the hoses to the base and to the head. There's really not much to it. Just a simple swap out. Be sure to not over tighten. Just get it tight enough to where it doesn't leak when you turn it on.

There you have it! An easy and convenient way to bathe your dog any time of year.
